• adenovirus carried by and widely distributed in wild and domestic ducks and geese.

Preventative Measures

• Provide good sanitation.
• Vaccinate if possible.
• Keep poultry away from ducks and geese.
• Minimize contact with wild birds.
• Purchase clean replacement stock.
• Ensure waterfowl does not contaminate water source.
